For practitioners who work affirmingly with trans and gender-diverse people and would like to be listed in the Trans Health SA Directory.

The Trans Health SA Directory lists GPs, endocrinologists, psychologists, speech therapists, counsellors and other practitioners who work affirmingly with trans and gender-diverse South Australians. Listings are free.

What we ask of listed practitioners

The Directory is used by people who have often had poor experiences in healthcare before. A listing is a signal to them that you are a safe place to start, so we ask that practitioners:

  • Use a person's stated name and pronouns, in person and in records.
  • Work within recognised standards of care — see our medical information page for the AusPATH and SA Health guidance we point practitioners to.
  • Keep your listing current, and tell us when your details change.

Trans Health SA is run by volunteers, so it can take up to two weeks for a listing request to be processed. You are welcome to follow up if you haven't heard back.
